Abstract

Reflecting on a career that ended in 2017 at age 74, Sandra Smith Gangle’s aim was precise in writing Madam Arbitrator: Working Toward Social Equality and Employment Justice, published earlier this year by Luminare Press:“I wrote this book to inspire you, the reader, to pursue your dreams, especially if those dreams relate to achieving a career that seems impossible due to employment discrimination, either explicit or implicit, or financial insufficiency. Even if you have experienced difficulties in life that have made your dreams seem impossible to overcome at present, there may be opportunities in the future when one might not expect to encounter them.
