To conclude my year as president of LERA, I would like nothing more than to simply recount our successes over the past 12 months and to introduce my successor, Adrienne Eaton, dean of the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University.But circumstances demand that I broaden my focus and address the civil unrest occurring throughout our country and the need for us all to examine the systemic racism that continues to have a deep impact on our society.
