Abstract
Last year, I attended the LERA 70th Annual Meeting in Baltimore and informally surveyed participants about Black women tenured in labor studies and employee relations. Each person I asked named the same woman. In my role as a discussant on the last panel of the last conference day, I asserted that LERA had a Black woman problem and recommended a critical race feminist intervention.
