Abstract

LERA members came to Baltimore from near and far to the association’s 70th Annual Meeting. The major themes of the meeting were new forms of worker  representation; women at work in the Me Too, post–Harvey Weinstein moment; gig, part-time, and contingent work, both in the United States and internationally; and the labor movement’s going forward following the Supreme Court’s Janus v. AFSCME decision that was handed down ten days after the LERA Annual Meeting.
