Workplace Bullying: Legal and Policy Implications

Abstract

Many aspects of the employment relationship are rife with potential conflict and disruption; in these instances, legal protections, employer policies, and collective bargaining play important roles in prevention and dispute resolution. This is not yet the case with workplace bullying. This article examines how these aspects of industrial relations currently relate to workplace bullying, and raises some points regarding future developments.
