Abstract

No single company has a monopoly on good people. But successful organizations are significantly better at maximizing their human resources. Companies achieve success when they properly manage, motivate, and enable their people to build winning teams that capitalize on their knowledge and skills.However, given the complexity and changing dynamics of business and technical environments, few organizations can rely solely on internal employees. Challenges include covering the breadth of technical and process knowledge requirements, the pace of change, and the need to scale resources to adjust to economic cycles and business opportunities—and high costs.
