Abstract
Creating a spreadsheet, operating a drill press, and driving a tractor-trailer are useful job skills for which training is routinely provided. Knowing how to resolve conflict at the worksite is also a skill that can enhance job performance, yet employees rarely are schooled in the necessary concepts and techniques.
