Abstract

Can dedicated people in a small state help extend and improve health care coverage in their region and the nation? Not only am I convinced they can, but I also believe that the resulting care would be much less costly than the care provided by the current system. This article explains why. Everyone concerned about the recent and sharp erosion of retiree health benefits across the country needs to give attention to the growing movement for universal health care.
