Beginning with its January 2008 annual meeting in New Orleans, the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA) will begin a yearlong celebration of its birth. In June, LERA will join with the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) for the biennial National Labor–Management Conference, which will commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of both organizations. The LERA celebration ends with the association’s 2009 annual meeting in San Francisco.
